Interesting thanks for that.

As it stands for promotion to be mathematically certain we need a W 8 D 1 L 3 record. That is assuming SCC & Posh win all of their games.

Slightly strange that the rearranged Plymouth v SCC game is being played on the Bank Holiday Monday. I hope we're up by then and don't have to spend the bank holiday anxiously checking the vidiprinter.

Expect the gloom and doom mongerers out on 5th April. Peterboro, SCC, Bournemouth and Orient all playing midweek matches and we aren't! What if they all win? :annoyed:

We'll be virtually home and hosed by then mate if we hold our nerve for the remaining March fixtures.

Champions on April 12 ??

Only four of the seven playing each other that day but you're right a big day for the top of FL1.
If we win our next 7 games (!!) that will give us Gus's required 2 points per game (92 points) and we could easily be CHAMPIONS at the end of the Dagenham home game on April 12 !!
What with the atmosphere of an evening game and then the trip to Walsall 4 days later .... well with the way we are playing this season (and grinding out results) we can dream - and they do seem to be coming true at the moment ....... SEAGULLS !!! :clap2:

Looking at those fixtures I can see plenty of points being dropped by our rivals before we have our tricky games late in April. Every possibility that we will have it I'm the bag by then.

Interestingly, that potential 25 points from the remaining 12 games equates to 2.083 points per game average which is almost exactly what we have averaged this year (71 points from 34 games = 2.088 average) actually very slightly less so if we keep doing what we've been doing all season nobody can mathematically stop us from winning the league!

I've decided that I am a lifelong Charlton supporter and will be fully committed to their cause for the rest of the season.
