The Vikings. Tony and his old pal Kirk Douglas. Classic.
surprised he never got an oscar - a Hollywood great from the golden age of family cinema
Should have got an Oscar for the Boston Strangler but I think there was some politics involved as the real Boston Strangler was still alive and in fact he was never convicted of his crimes as he was mentally unfit.
RIP.
A true screen legend. Also the star of my favourite TV programme as a kid:

Kirk Douglas is still going strong though - rather sadly, looks in better shape than his son
More power to him
MySpace - Kirk Douglas - 93 - Male - Los Angeles, California - myspace.com/kirkdouglas
He's the last one standing, all the others are gone now. Burt, Cary, Jimmy etc etc.
Sad sad sad.
Can you get episodes of "The Persuaders" now? Best thing about that was the music - I wonder who composed it...

Last major male star but both Joan Fontaine and Olivia de Havilland are still alive - both in their 90s and both hating each other
And while he wasn't a major star, Ernest Borgnine is still going strong
