That's when the 6/4 favourite (Trueshan) was still in the market.

He was withdrawn about an hour before the race, causing a 40p R4 on anyone who took 33/1.

Not on the strength of its meh 2yo form it doesn't. Certainly no obvious reason for it to be installed as 13/8 favourite, unless the whispers are it's really kicked on from that form. Find out soon enough eh?

One of Tony Blooms. Two “sympathetic” rides so far. Watch especially when it gets its handicap.

He might wait for a better price but I’m pretty sure it’s a bit better than the bare form suggests.
