About the journey to the stadium.
No offers for Gus.
Emotions for first game.
No real set targets for the new season.

Nothing really new but good to hear him. He speaks so well about the club.

Can someone provide a run down on what he said...........even if he was only on for a short while. Thanks.

He says the Donny game will be emotional, he doesn't like to set targets but feels the top 6 could be achieved. He also said the CMS deal was tough as we can't pay as much as other clubs that were in for him, but Gus did a great job selling the club & his vision for us.
When asked, he stated that "not one" offer had come in for Gus from anywhere.

The panel said some nice things albeit slightly patronising.

That can't be right, a Palace fan posted that we offered more for CMS than any right minded club would offer. You're not going to take the ramblings on Tony Bloom over a Palace fan are you?

If you heard earlier when they were talking about QPR, Martin Keown found the decision of CMS to come to us, "a strange one".
Ambition means than one season in the Premier League. He wants to play for Gus; Gus gets players to want to play for him.

When Martin Keown's spoken about us this Summer, he is full of compliments, and also says he always looks for our results due to his spells here as a youngster.
He has also spoken about the Henry Hughton violence against Gerry Ryan.

A good bloke, who is also always honest about Wenger's ineptitude on spending on a goalie/central defenders.

MK always comes across as a decent guy. I remember when he made his debut for us against Man City at Maine Road. (crikes, i feel old!!)

The Palace rumour on CMS's wages was a LIE.

When he joined, 5Live or Talksport stated it was £10,000 per week, which fits in with Deloitte's stat's on the Championship.
CMS made it plain that Poyet's persona sold the Club to him.

This time, there was smoke without fire. Don't fall for the wind-up.

please do tell was it tony or the presenter who didn't know he is our player :)
Pretty sure it was TB.....the pundits went on to say how good we'd been last season, and mentioned Bennett and Murray (although they did cotton on to the fact that GM had joined Palarse).

No one ever did believe it, except maybe the most foolish 0.5%.
And straw clutching Palace fans, obviously.

The presenter got it wrong, NOT TB...
