I just saw Tony Bloom in the Crown Casino in Melbourne playing poker (a $100,000 buy in event). The Aussie Millions doesn't finish until January 30 so with a bit of luck he will be here until then.

Could be a sign that he really doesn't plan to be active during the transfer window.

Electronic Banking is the way forward!!

Having said that Gus has been quoted as saying he is happy with the current squad and will only sign someone who brings something different to the team. Harley has decided to go elsewhere, so it could be a relatively quiet transfer window, with maybe a couple of players being sent out on loan, not forgetting Noone who joined us right at the start.

Had a chat with Tony during one of the breaks. Great bloke - very friendly. Said he was in Melbourne for three weeks and would be keen to catch up with the Seagulls Downunder supporters club some time. I don't know how we arrange it, but I appreciated the thought!
