In hindsight the war wasn't successful however most other western countries supported it not just Britain and America. The aim of the war was and still is for the right reasons, that is to remove an evil dictator and allow the process of democracy. What wasn't fully appreciated was tge huge problems involved in bringing democracy to a Muslim country ( Turkey the only real exception to the rule ) and when you temove a dictator another vicious extremist terror group takes the place of the dictator.

Yet, strangely Blair didn't go to war with North Korea, Cuba, Syria or many of the African states that had evil dictators. Blair was a liar and a war criminal that should have been prosecuted. If he really thought Saddam had WMD why did he have that document sexed up ? As for your statement that he is charming and intelligent - many dictators and criminals have been described as that as well. Blair made this world less safe, along with his warmongering mate Bush. Please stop re-writing history.

I help to write songs not history, however I don't think it is either fair or true to blsme him for making the world more unsafe. The people to blsmr for that are the extremists who.carry out evil acts and the religious indoctrination they use as an excuse for this.
