The correct figure is 5994 btw. PTV might catch up tomorrow and submit the proper attendance.

In London village.
Some of us season ticket holders don't actually live in Sussex. I have come down for every weekend game, but mid-week games are often too difficult to balance against work and other considerations. I suspect, incidently, that us "out of towners" have a significantly higher than average attendance at away games.

nope they are still useless! 0 :glare:

As for pay on the day, If I am correct this cannot be done due to an agreement between the club and council or local residents - something like that. Someone on here knows why we cant!

It was one of the conditions attached to us getting permission to play at Withdean, though it's never been that clear to me why.

I think the main reasons for a lower attendance were the fact that it was freezing cold, our previous home performance wasn't brilliant (even though we won), it costs £21 for a ticket for poor facilities and no pay on the gate means if you're not sure whether you'll make it home from work in time you aren't going to buy a ticket. Add to this the fact that the Champs league second leg was on the telly and our fixture looks pretty unattractive to the floating punter.
