I love a decent kebab, but they don't do them in pitta breads here.
They are all wrapped and are cylindrical shape, not a pitta to be found in a kebab shop anywhere.
They are ok, especially when you order extra meat ,but not a patch on the monsters I used to buy back in blighty.

The last word in kebabs is the wonderful Souvlaki Giro available in Greece but not in the UK but I have been told on here that you can get them in Borough Market.
Grilled meat with Tatziki, salad in a pitta wrap they are delicious.
Due to the amount of Greeks in Australia I wonder if you are eating a Giro, if you are I would say you are very lucky.

Shish kebabs with a low fat sauce option or yoghurt piled high with salad are quite healthy. Its the Doner that is the devil!

That may be correct and perhaps that might be your kebab of choice, but ......... but where did this become a thread of low fat rather than a deliverance of a wonderful plate of taste.

Jeeeeez do we need to go through health police whilst discussing the merits of any kind of food.
