Can I just ask you all to spare a thought at 3 o/clock tomorrow for Mari, whose funeral is being held at that time.

You will remember that Mari was brutally and senselessly murdered a couple of weeks ago and Albion fans made tremendous gestures by holding an impecably observed minutes silence and donating money to the club in her name.

Myself and karen will be there and I will pass on any respects you wish me to, to her husband and Julie and the Family.

Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine
ex lux perpetua luceat eis.

Rest eternal grant them, O Lord
and let perpetual light shine upon them.
