Will Jeffers start ? I pressume so, he has been playing games for Arsenal pre-season.

Beattie and Jeffers would be a very tidy strike force

Jeffers won't start I don't think. Bartlett and Euell have been on fire in pre season. Murphy and Rommodahl will though.

I agree Beattie would be a very good signing but can't see us spending £6 million when we should have signed Kezman for £5 million before Chelsea stole him form under our noses grrrr

Given the right service, Beattie will score in The Premiership

I've seen him play quite a bit at Southampton and he's a good player - Curbishley will bring the best out of him.

Don't think he's England class though

Don't do it, he is crap!. All the Saints Season ticket holders I know can't wait to get rid, they reckon Phillips is much better. Yes he can score when he gets good service, but offers nothing else at all. All round football ability is woeful.

If or when we get Falmer, do you think all the (Eastbourne area) former Brighton fans who started taking their lads to Charlton will come back to the fold? Or have we lost them forever?
