I have deleted my account on twitter.

I found out that I had blocked over 600 accounts on there, over a period of about 5 years, nearly all alt right wankers or bots.

I won’t ever go back all the while Musk is allowing all the crap.
Shame cos the transfer rumours were often very funny.

My account has been deleted. I just can't see what it adds to my life. Just full of nastiness and pointless exchange. NSC is my only social media outlet, and my Facebook groups on disused railways and local buses, of course.

Twitter is (was) really useful for "what is happening right now?" queries (e.g. "why is there a helicopter circling overhead?"), and I'm not aware of a suitable replacement currently available, but I've logged out and deleted the app.
