There was something from him on Twitter earlier where he showed where his ICD is. I must admit, not having seen one before, I expected it to be a lot smaller. They've stuck his under his armpit, but it does present a great big lump under the skin. Anyone on here got one? I'm looking at that and thinking it can't be at all comfortable, and must take a lot of getting used to.

I'm looking at that and thinking it can't be at all comfortable, and must take a lot of getting used to.

Well worth it if you're at risk of ventricular fibrillation (VF).

There are no safe drugs for VF you can take in the way ne might take a statin or aspirin to reduce the risk of a heart attack.
