Now, the older women in my family (my mother, nans and aunts) always referred to their knickers as 'drawers', but I'm not sure anyone else does anymore. I haven't heard the expression used for years. What a great shame, as it was always wonderful to hear my auntie Joyce, getting up off the floor after dancing to 'Rock the boat', screeching "ooh me drawers!" Thanks for the memory Prince.
