Probably get slated as because I don't have over a zillion posts I guess I'm a newbie, (more of that at the bottom of the post) and on NSC everybody knows newbies can't have good ideas, but how about when the Spurs tickets get sent out perhaps the club could stick in a flyer with the tickets advertising the CD.

Should be perfect timing - tickets will go out before Christmas - say 3000+ addresses - really get them to make everybody going to Spurs get on line and buy at least 2 copies.

Better still - if you want a Ticket for Spurs you have to buy a CD as well!

Newbie - yes to posting, not to being a NSC peeping Tom - peeping out from behind my net curtains into the informative,(LB) humerous,(Easy 10, Edna, and Chappers for his food ideas) stupid (too many to mention but Kev the Ape springs to mind) and sometime touching (OTLW Daughter/Drink sagas) world of NSC - it really has it all.

I love it, so have decided to finally take the plunge and join you all.

By the way - whatever happened to the Cardiff fan (Twatty?) Dwyane(sp) -and Brighton Bird, who seemed to rack up 10000 posts in three days before leaving?

GO ON AND ORDER THE CD - Even if you don't like it - I still have my 'Boys in the Old Brighton Blue' from '83, played it once, it's shit, but that's not the point (actually I think Tom Hark is pretty good but I'm biased cos I saw the Piranhas at the Alhambra - and have great memories - bout time we reclaimed this as a Brighton song.)

We could have a Top 10 Hit and play Spurs on the same Sunday - BUT only if we ALL get out and PRE ORDER NOW!!

Not a bad idea the flyer bit, think we'll be lucky to get it in the charts let alone top 10 but you never know.

Sounds like a good idea! Wouldn't worry about being a newbie, I've been secretly reading posts on this site for ages and this is my second reply! Already preordered a copy and trying to persuade everyone else I know to get one as well!

Flyer idea is good... post to Ask the Club... you never know, although I expect the Insider will dismiss it on the grounds of cost...

I can get a couple of hundred flyers printed here and there free, but a couple of thousand will take the job of a professional printer - which costs money.

3,000 flyers would cost - oooh - about £300-£500.

that's 10-16 p a go.

must be able to do them cheaper than that, probably get 3 to 4 on an A4
