This is what has happended today. Can you spot anyone in there that you would have liked/we may have been in for? To me nothing stands out as being very special player. Yes, there are a few that look good, but special?

Maybe the 'special one' is staying put until January to see what else comes along and to see if we are still top.

"Good" would have done if special was a step too far

One thing that does stand out from this list. We may not have improved our squad (which by the way I think is good enough to keep us up around the top), but two of our rivals are now worse off because of today's activity. Namely, Bournmouth and Wednesday.

Every little helps.

McQuoid wanted to leave and his contract is up in the summer, not much they could do really. Considering they gave him a contract into professional football, it shows he has a distinct lack of loyalty.

Fallon to Ippo is a weird one, always thought of him as a sh*t Alan Lee which is saying something!

Looks like Nicky Forster's days in the first eleven at Brentford are well and truly numbered what with injury/fitness concerns and the fact they seem to have more forwards signed than even the scc can muster - looks like Gus made the right decision in allowing him to go

The teams that have strengthened aren't real threats either, well Brentford are creeping up.

But the teams that are threats haven't been significantly weakened by injuries either, whereas we have.

Kirkland & Zuiverloon would have been pretty special

Don't forget the quite tremendously named Abdoulai Bell-Baggie, from Reading to Crawley.

He's eligible for their cup game tomorrow too.

Feel sorry for Bournemouth. They have to sell their best players it seems

I don't. That's life

(Unless you're Portsmouth of course)
