Perfectly put and I'm in for the chess too. Probably board number 10+

Nice to see this disinterred now we know whom we're playing - two lots of progressive ultras, albeit with formidable reputations when playing people they don't like (!) both with links to St Pauli, plus Ajax who are pretty much neutral these days. (I know a lot of people on here don't like the political connections in the mainland European ultras scene, I'm just pointing stuff out..) I would hope that we won't have any bother at the away games, but you never know, just need to have our wits about us

In about 600 gigs in Europe I have seen a lot of nonsense at football matches. So here’s our calling card!

TO MAINLAND EUROPE’S ULTRAS

Please don’t throw pyro at us
It really is a bore
And homophobic chanting?
We’ve heard it all before
So best not think that you’ve come to
A new city to frighten
Cos we’ll just want to welcome you -
We’re all-inclusive Brighton!

Why don’t you join us in our pubs
And try our local brew?
It’s flat and warm, you say? Of course.
We hope you like it too!
We’ve had to fight for thirty years
To get to where we are
So we are just not interested
In punch ups in a bar….

And when we come to visit you
Don’t threaten us and jeer
Cos we’ll just want to watch the game
And drink the local beer
And learn about your history
Find new things to enjoy
And if you’ve got a chess firm then
I’ll challenge your top boy
🙂
It actually works with this music, very good.

Ajax are one of the better ones to be fair, not much pointless aggression internationally compared to other Dutch teams, they're too historically big for that. They're noisy and travel in numbers, but shouldn't cause a lot of trouble.
Same with them in Berlin last season. No problems. Feyenoord on the other hand the season before in the Conference League. Horrendous problems both home and away with their hooligan element. The latter game the Dutch Police were hooligans in uniform and the organisation at their stadium was shambolic.

Lots of trouble at Utrecht / Feynoord this weekend just gone.
