This was Harry Roberts,who manfully shot and killed some policemen before going on the run and roughing it in bivouacs until traced,tried and imprisoned.Although an easy song to singalong to,it never seemed,well,right.Usually started when reprobates were being evicted for pitch invasions,person invasions,or foulmouthing the police at games.

Not as good a song as;

But as for Ted McDougal he's the queerest of them all.

Appeal for release turned down in 2005 and still inside 40 yrs on I believe. His sentence was 30 years.
