I am not a big fan of chanting at football matches.

But clapping is ok.

I have often spent many a happy night at home watching old 70/80’s football videos.

Listening in awe and admiring the synchronised timing of the fans on the terrace.

And I’m not talking about all this modern day bollocks clapping. That you see on MOTD at when the “fans” salute there players at the end of the match.

fuckin ell i just been trasported back 38 years.
I havent laughed so much for ages i was a northstander from about 1970 onwards, looking back though it seemed every 2 or three weeks a new song took off and some died away but the classics went on for seasons
