[Misc] Tilers advice please

Mrs A has decided we are having our shower room refitted.
We only intend to tile inside the shower area. 1600 x 800.
I like the idea of using 1200 x 400(?) tiles.
Q is, are these easy to put up or, do tilers prefer a smaller size for ease and speed?
So I guess also the 2nd question is are bigger tiler dearer or cheaper to fit?

Large format can be a bit of a bastard to fit. If the walls are dead flat it may go swimmingly.

yeah, the walls are all new, smooth and square.

These are known in the trade as caravan panels, expensive but look cheap, also a pain to fit if the walls aren't perfectly level

Bigger tiles are usually for floors. They're more difficult to cut and drill, but otherwise just buy for the look you want.

Usual story of you get what you pay for and good prep as you suggest. Personally never having to worry about grouting and easy clean clinched it for me.

Yes it worked for getting over our problem but I don't like a whole bathroom done in panels
