Not sure about Tiger Sharks, but THIS got washed up on the beach in 1980

I remember the story well, but recall it being a basking shark (ie. very large, but no teeth and feeds on plankton).

i remember as a kid in worthing seeing about 10 basking sharks washed up in worthing with the meat cut off them and just the bone and heads. The biggest being 3ft.
