Tiger Shark Brighton Beach

Have I gone mental or can I remember that during the Summer of '76 that a large Tiger Shark was either caught off, or washed up on, Brighton beach.

Just to settle a debate at the pub.

I reckon you've gone mental. Tiger Sharks are tropical sharks.

Might have been a Porbeagle / Mako / Thresher or something.

seem to remember a lot of fuss at the time because of "JAWS", but commander could be right about me being mental.

Great Whites have been spotted at a few places around the UK, hav'nt heard of a Tiger Shark down here but I'll do some digging.

Great White Sharks are a con for the Cornish tourist industry.

People like to sit on the beach watching people being eaten, especially the reporter from the Sun.
