How about the club offers a pick a game bundle?

You can choose any 5 home games in a season for a set price - less then if you brought 5 single tickets on their own.

It would suit people that couldnt make it every week and also make a ticket bundle look more attractive as you get to choose the games.

I think they do that for a string of games, rather than pick and choose.

The only problem with that is the popular games might sell out well in advance and those who do not buy a Season ticket and did not want to buy a 5 match bundle might miss out. Some people can't plan their weekends that far in advance and would automatically be at a disadvantage.

That sounds like a quality idea and one id DEFINATLY go for, but i think BoF is right in what he says, it would be unfair on those who cant plan there weekends that far in advance!

Sorry, I wasn't chucking it straight out the window. I like the idea of discounted bundles. Perhaps have a few pots of all the games to choose from and you can only pick a certain amount from each one.

I.e. Last Season

Pot One

Leeds
Palace
Southampton
etc.

Pot Two

Leicester
Coventry
Ipswich
etc.

Pot Three

Crewe
Milwall
League Cup Game
etc.

Realisticly how many people would do it tho?

there would still be tickets around and the club got restrict the number?

I think thats a great idea, and would deffinetly do it.

I belive that every club has to keep so many tickets free for non-season ticket holders, so they have tickets to go on general sale. So if this 5 match package was marked as a season ticket package, then the club would still have some tickets for the bigger games to sale nearer the time!

But if people are worried about missing out on the bigger games then they should have really got a season ticket this year for either all 23 games or the blocks of 5 that can be renewed (so evenly spaced payments throughout the season)

It's a cracking idea, I would definitely go for it as I can't make all the games but probably about 5-8 home matches on the season. Send this one in to the club! Now for the half time entertainment ideas...:jester:

Agreed, excellent idea. Living up in the Lake District I can't make very many games. This would be ideal for me as I can only get to about 5 home games.

Another thing I've seen them do in American sports other than the pots, is pairing popular games up with others. For example, if you want to see Brighton vs Millwall, you have to take one of: Cheltenham, Swansea, Scunthorpe in your group of 5 as well.
