In Warwickshire, it's been really close all day and then all of a sudden it pissed down. Assuming it was a thunderstorm, I stood at my back door awaiting the thunder and lightning for a few minutes. Instead, it just petered out and just watered my garden furniture.

Pathetic. I blame my local MP.
Just returned from a 5 day break in benidorm, done some washing, put on line around 5pm although nearly dried but with no breeze and a few spots of rain, not enough to wet the ground.

Roy mate. What the f*** are you doing in Benny at your age? Are you booked in the clinic tomorrow?

Few rumbles and a fair bit of rain in Haywards Heath now.

Well I just got a soaking and saw lightning while out on the seafront so I can report..mild storm like conditions along Brighton seafront. Some bins moved slightly and shallow puddles forming. Run for your lives
We shall rebuild.

Heavy downpour last night - the main thunderstorm was about 15 miles away so missed us.

Everything looks lovely and green this morning, flowers rejuvenated in my garden!

Not enough for the horses’ grass in the local stables who are having to feed them hay or the crop fields though - need a good few weeks of moderate rain.
