Sadly, I think you will find it heading North East rather than North, its called The Coriolis Effect. I'm in Worthing so might be really lucky and catch the edge of it but it's probably Eastbourne / Hastings bound.

Okay, I don't know of The Coriolis Effect, is that anything to do with the south downs working its magic? I do know that we are pretty much in the driest part of the UK.

Sadly I can't see it making it over the Channel. Amazing how many storms reach the Normandy coast then fizzle out.

If only the immigrants could fizzle out at Normandy too.:hilton:

It's complicated but, weather features such as storms do not usually move directly North or South due to the rotation of the Earth.
