the cleverest man ever to live, designs the most powerful machines ever, and he's played by a KID?

Nope, seems I was wrong. Brains is played by Anthony Edwards who is 42. In the trailer, however, he doesn't seem to appear at all.

The kid I thought was meant to be Brains appears to be some kind of annoying brat assistant for Brains (with blue specs, just like Brains), and he seems to be in many of the scenes. Seems Brains may have been upstaged.
