Lightening, thunder AND hail in the same evening. We`ll be talking about this night for years to come.
As will our children, their children and their children's children...... oh and The Worthing Herald.
Hail in Worthing too. Just heading out for 6aside. Don't know why I bother.
We were sitting in our car in Rowlands Road waiting for our daughter to come out of the hairdressers when the thunder and lightning was overhead and the wind and hail that followed battered the car-vvvery spooky! It still didn't stop all the usual weirdos that live in that area still out and about as if nothing has happened!
I was on the khazi & was well impressed with myself until I realised it was a thunder storm.
Just spoke to my parents who say that lightning hit a bingalow just around the corner from them in Durrington. Parents have lost their landline and TV.
I'm expecting another " Flash in the Pan " on Saturday morning
