I have recently changed from orange to 3 and have noticed no difference in signal strength full bars most of the time except where I use to struggle with orange where it is the same. Two phones @ £15 a month each saving £20 a month. Havent tried their broadband though but having a place with messenger (free) it seems fast enough
I've been on 3 for the past year, everything was fine when I first joined, I was living in Hurstpierpoint and it was a much better signal than any other network. Now I've moved to Brighton, I struggle to get a decent signal in my flat (near the Level). On top of that my phone now seems to be completely buggered, it keeps cutting out mid conversation and "sim card registration failed" keeps appearing.
i had a phone and broadband for an 18mth contract, all works well the broadband never gets to 3mb tho. one word of warning their customer service is definatly the worst of any company i have dealt with. i left to go to orange mobile for this reason, costs a bit more but at least if you have a problem they can sort it out in the shop
I have also heard 3's customer service is poor but my dealings with them have top notch. Easy to deal with and recently it sounds like they are now based in the UK (18 months ago I spoke with an Indian call centre and last time was called by a UK call centre). Very polite people too, absolultely no problems with them.
I live in Haywards Heath and I rarely ever lose my 5/5 strength 3G connection (unless passing through Balcombe ).
Thanks for the feedback guys. I must say that I'm happy with Vodafone, they're pretty good - perhaps I can use 3 to get them to reduce their price a bit.
been with them for 4 years,3 phones for family, never a prob, cheap ,great upgrades if you haggle but dont agree a 18m contract,i only do 12m,they will let you, internets fine
