Now that the season is effectively over for us - what do you want to happen, think will happen, or predict will happen over the summer going into next season?

Predict we will get rid of some of our weaker links - this includes Milner, Adingra, Ferguson and Barco. Suspect Enciso & Sarmiento will be going too. Looks like Lamptey on a free as well.

Reckon we'll see some of our young players go out on loan, including a couple of surprises, depending who we get in. Buonaonotte will be back in the first team. Cashin goes out on loan for the season.

Predict (and hope) our main targets will be Defenders and a striker. Reckon we'll get at least one big name 32+ year old, which seems to be the way.

Verbruggen, Baleba, Pedro, van Hecke and Mitoma will be linked to big clubs for big fees. Predict Baleba will be the only one that goes (£80m+), leaving a big hole in our midfield, but we will look to replace.

I thought the Barco deal included an obligation to buy, so not really a prediction that he’ll leave.

With Ferguson I don’t see who’s going to offer any decent money for him, so I think he’ll stay.

Of the stars, Mitoma is the one who the club would probably sell if a reasonable offer comes in from a Champions League team and he wants to leave. No other star players will leave unless we get crazy money.

My prediction for next season is that we’ll kick and do better than this season. Maybe hit about 65 points.

I may let you know once the season is actually over on Sunday week.

I see Caicedo won Chelsea's player of the season. Baleba is going the same way probably Liverpool

Big sales will probably be a couple out of Verbruggen, Mitoma, Pedro, Ferguson, Enciso & Buonanotte. Add a number of lower value players, mainly from our loan army and U23s such as Sima, Sarmiento and Moran who are not going to make the grade here.

Incomings already include Do-Young, Watson and Tzimas. That's probably £40m worth for starters.

Hopefully, we'll add in Charalampos Kostoulas, the generational talent we are pushing very hard on and then a couple of full backs (left & right) such as Alberto Costa and Cuiabano plus a highly rated young centre back such as Diego Coppola, we're probably done and looking at a total £100m spend.

I think that sets us up nicely to start the season with a very strong team and squad. Maybe something like this.

--------------------Verbruggen-----------------
Kadıoğlu---Van Hecke---Webster--Estupiñán
--------Wieffer---------------Baleba------------
Minteh------------Georginio-------------Enciso
--------------------Welbeck----------------------

I think we'll start strong again and will do better overall IF we don't top the injuries list for a second season running.

Prediction.

Lots of talk about a 'model'

Wild speculation that some of our team will actually stay fit for more than 6 weeks

A few youngsters in who are immediately labelled 'wonderkids' after 5 goals in a pub league

A shit load of loans out

Mitoma and Pedro to depart with Enciso

Several dubious claims about players after a full pre season being "like a new signing"

9 new under 18 goalkeepers, all apparently brilliant

I predict we’ll be linked with someone none of us have heard of but someone’s brother knows someone who is a season ticket holder and thinks he’s shitehouse.

The new kit will be released to a mixed reception and lamenting that neither Adidas or Hummel make our kit.

We’ll have a laugh when De Zerbi goes to Spurs and Glasner to Chelsea.

The fixture list will come out and we’ll all be trying to work out points totals and whether the dates have fallen kindly for those who may need to suffer Burnley to give them a chance of Bournemouth.

Questions about season ticket points calculations will only be exceeded by questions about when the fixture list comes out.

There will be some proper close season threads that surpass our worst fears of boredom.

We’ll giggle at Leeds fans and whoever their first fixture is against being billed as some massive return for them. Whoever it is against, some ancient slight will be dredged up to make it seem significant enough for them.

We’ll be a bit grumpy when we see who Palace have got in Europe (but then enjoying their demise happening before ours did). Their “ultras” meeting actual ultras might be interesting.

Potter will go to Southampton and for the first time we’ll all wish him well in a new job.

Someone may or may not make a joke about Michael Owen being seen at the Grand.

There will be extensive discussion of travel issues predicted in the season ahead, and the pain of leaving the ground will come up numerous times well before the season begins.

We’ll play an inconsequential friendly against a mid-table Spanish side that’ll teach us nothing and most of us won’t go anyway.

Also, monorail.

Sticking my neck out here but I don't think Baleba is winning Liverpool's player of the season.

Lots of Liverpool chat about their interest in Joao Pedro at £60m which has not been officially dismissed by BHA. Frimpong has passed his medical, Kerkez supposedly following and the JP.
Personally I am not a fan of JP so I’m hoping he stays as he would get more game time and make more progress at Brighton.

My sources tell me Fergy has dropped his latest squeeze so might be getting his head down slightly differently over the summer.

Big pre season for him

Another top 10 finish and a Cup semi (I'm going Carabao). Verbruggen and Mitoma to stay this summer, as will Baleba and Milner.

Enciso will leave permanently, Ferguson will go to Leeds on loan, Buonanotte will also be loaded out unless Pedro leaves in which case he'll stay.

Will Still gets the Southampton manager job, which is mildly amusing because their squad is terrible and therefore they Will Still be crap next season.
Ferguson will go to Leeds on loan
Looking forward to them turning him from an unknown youngster into a star and then offering us £7 million.

……and their fans insisting it’s a fair deal because they’re the hugest champions of Europe in history. Free Fergie!

(After a season where we qualify for Europe and they finished 17th)
