Come on, lets have more players doing this... :)

Derby's Michael Johnson has launched a stinging verbal attack on referee Neale Barry and has blamed the official for the Rams' 4-1 defeat at Cardiff.

The central-defender's furious outburst came in the aftermath of 10-man Derby's thrashing at Ninian Park, a reverse Johnson believed was precipitated by Barry's decision to allow the Bluebirds three controversial goals.

He said: "The referee's performance was disgusting.

"I would go as far as to say it was a disgrace, one of the worst I have ever seen.

"We felt like we were playing against 12 men at times, every decision was against us.

"He was arrogant and you couldn't talk to him, he spoiled the game for me and I told him that at the end.

"If I had been marking his performance, I wouldn't have given him three out of 10.

"Three of their goals were questionable.

"It was hard to tell whether Ian Taylor conceded the penalty for the second and Alan Lee was about 25 yards offside for their third.

"The fourth goal definitely didn't cross the line and the lads at Sky television have told me it didn't go in.

"In the second half, he tried to play the advantage rule and then pulled Taylor back 40 yards, where's the advantage in that?

"He was an absolute joke."

Unfortunately he will probably be fined quite a lot of money for that outburst. Occasionally i love to see this happen, the referees need to know when they have been shit.

Too many refs consider themselves to be the centre of attention. Result the game is spoilt for players and fans. Perhaps Mr Barry was influenced by the home support?

Got to say I do find it a bit pathetic that the FA will fine a player for speaking his mind yet do nothing about what appears to be a lamentable performance of a referee. What tangerble punishment was handed out to that racist liar and cretin in a Ref's clothing Prosser ?

Whatever happened to freedom of speach ? The FA bring the game into disrepute on a regular basis with their high handed and dictitorial attitude towards the people who make up the game.

I like the story attributed to Andy Gray when playing, along the following lines:

After a bad decision Gray started to get upset with the ref. The referee warned him that if he started using foul and abusive language he was going to book him . Gray then told the ref that he was getting pretty fed up with some of his decisions and thinking some pretty bookable things about him. The ref told him that he could think what he liked.

Gray's response was " Well in that case ref, I've got to tell you that I think you're a c:censored: t"
