I don't have the Liverpool goals so you'll have to make do with these. :-

Newcastle & Man City
Norwich City

These will have to be the last for this month. Look at my webspace usage for yesterday :-

The Norwich game was great, several of my mates didn't get in as it was a sell out and had to sit in Hove Park.

Brag brag boast boast but I was at all the games you've featured in the last couple of days (except Newcastle away in the replay). Great, great times, thanks for bringing back all the memories.

I remember the Norwich game - or not! I couldn't get in, a spent the first 15 mins "watching" the game from outside the ground in the south east corner, near the church (?), where the road goes up slightly. You could just see the goal in front of the North Stand when you jumped. After 15 mins I was knackered. I had my radio, so went back to the station and caught the fast Hove service to Victoria, intending to listen to the game. Unfortunately the reception was complete bollocks, so I ended up getting off at East Croydon, by which time the game was over. What a place to celebrate :lolol:

I got there just after midday to make sure I got in. (Note to newer fans, in those days you could just turn up, very few games were all-ticket). One of my mates left it a bit late and was locked out. There were lots of protests, most along the lines that the people in the ground weren't 'real' fans but were simply Big Game Charlies who had come out of the woodwork because it was the Quarter Final! Where have we heard a similar tale recently?

I got there early as well - attendance was 28,000 I think, a lock out

Me as well, great memories and I had forgotten what a magnificent site a packed terrace was.

Just hope future generations of Albion fans get to enjoy days like these. The NIMBYS must not win.
