How did the Riverside tadium compare to McAlpines at Huddesfield? (for those who went to both).
And is anybody taking photographs with their digital cameras of football stadia they go to? Arriving in sunlight, even allowing for the decreased daylight near the Arctic Circle: or at least on the same latitude as Moscow.
Living in the north anyway I am probably acclimatised.
I wore a tee shirt under my stripes and was able to watch the game without having to put my fleece on until we left the stadium.
I think the Riverside stadium is better than the McAlpine stadium. Probably one of the best stadiums I have visited (I didn't make Derby but someone else said it didn't quite match that)
We have taken some photos and will try to get them posted.
Only slight criticism of the Riverside is that every seat is red apart from a dozen which spell out BORO at the very top of the West side.
I like to see an emblem or something similar breaking up the colours. Of course that wouldn't have been so striking if there had been more bums on seats.
