Today my wife washed a TV remote control on 60 degrees for an hour and a half. I changed the batteries an they are ok.Last month my wallet had 10 minutes in the wash . It had 50 pounds in it plus credit cards but all dried out fine. I am worried about next month.

How did the TV remote end up in the washing machine? Are you keeping it in your pocket so your wife can't change the channel?

My cellphone. In my trouser pocket. Two weeks ago. On cold. But it's still f****ed. Lucky it only cost me £15. Plan for disaster and you won't ever be disappointed, eh?
