[Albion] Things I would like to see happen in the last seven games

Not quite one of those, but it would be nice to see one of the youngsters get at least a few minutes - and dreamland if they could impress in the way that Ayari and Hinsh have already done this season. Slater, Knight and most recently Tasker have been unused subs, so maybe one of them.
Maybe not going to happen though - the 'career progression' at the Albion now seems to be, get as far as the bench for a few games and the next minute you're on yer bike - see under McConville (who would probably have been the most likely to get a few 1st. team minutes), Peupion, Samuels, etc.
Howell (another goal and assist yesterday) or Simmonds (because of our lack of CBs) an outside chance perhaps……….

They are VERY young though...................Howell is only 16, and \\Simmons was only 17 last month.
Yep, not suggesting it should happen but it could (particularly if we get any more injuries or disciplinaries, or any games become dead rubbers)

  1. Not concede in the first ten minutes of a game or the oppositions first big chance
  2. Verbruggen to not look like he's going to concede every shot (I know he's an exceptional talent but just worry a bit ATM)
  3. To stop rotating different options in the number 10 slot, pick one and stick with them through thick and thin until Rutter is fit.
  4. Maybe revert to JPVH/Webster once fit/back from suspension - it's looked the most solid and mobile pair this season
  5. Try to up the tempo. We're looking a bit one dimensional in particular down the left where Pervis motors forwards and then when no pass is there on his left he turns inside like an oil tanker and inevitably drifts it back to the CBs at such a slow ponderous pace. All too predictable.

Sussex but not by the sea
Throw the odd cross into the box. We FINALLY did that on Saturday at the death and could/should have scored as a result. We are too scared of losing the ball at the moment, a little too negative, IMO it contributed to JPvH's red as WTF is Wieffer even doing there? He should be out right or further up the pitch.

Win enough points to finish in the top eight, and Palace not to win the FA Cup.

That's all

Done a Frexit, now in London
Obviously I want to see us win them all and sail into the European spots but this is about player achievements:

1. Danny Welbeck to scored two more league goals and make it to double figures for the first time in his career
2. Lewis Dunk to score to keep his record going of having scored in every PL season of ours
3. Veltman to return and get his traditional one goal for the season
4. Joao Pedro to make it to 10 league goals, something he didn’t manage last season
5. Gruda to get his first goal for the club
6. Ferdi back fit and playing to set him up for next season
7. Ayari to finally get the goal he’s been so close to.

I won’t get them all but here’s hoping.

I think you're asking for a lot there, but Welbz getting to 10 is likely, maybe similar for JP but I don't see Veltman, Dunk, Gruda and the new WeeBG Ayari scoring. And no way we're winning all of our remaining games.

Southern Rail running 8 carriage trains. And post match how about holding the Victoria to Hastings trains at Lewes for a minute or two.
Well providing the Liverpool game is not moved to a Monday Night, I can guarantee that the first part will be fully confirmed.

I think there is a fair chance Ayari gets a goal. Goal disallowed against Everton away (I think?) and hit the post from a free kick, seems to get in more dangerous positions than Gilmour too.

I can't remember a time where we've had a 16 year old play regularly and comfortably in the u21s (8 goals and 4 assists this season) ? (let alone 2 as Simmonds has played there all season too)
Even Jack Hinshelwood was 17 when he made his PL2 debut.
