If it comes off will it be a Car Crash or great move by Villa??

I'm going for Car Crash, much too much pressure for a first management job imo.

Has Bruce been sacked then? I must have missed that - and I was only away for a couple of days!

I take people's point on the gamble clubs take in hoping that a good player will automatically become a good manager (without any lengthy stint in a supporting role), but the two times we did it (Mullery and Poyet) it worked out ok.

Being coach of a national team full of star players is literally nothing like being manager of a 2nd division team with money problems. They should stick with Bruce, Henry is on a hiding to nothing at Villa.
