Racon was quality. Not surprising really.

Murray didn't have any service so not sure he was that bad.

Racon did play very well, but so did the Charlton defence, which made it hard for Murray and Forster, Murray was still offside way too often though.

Racon was quality on the ball. Don't think Murray really gets up for friendlies but the offside thing is pretty annoying, surely it doesn't take much to not get offside

Racon and Jonjo Shelvey were quality today. The latter is touted as one of their very promising youth prospects and certainly lived up to his billing.

I think it would a mistake to read too much into today's performance, but hopefully it will sharpen up training and give Micky some pointers. Elphick was very solid, Mayo had a pretty decent game and there were some encouraging moments from a number of others, but the truth is that we were bossed around most of the game by a side who look to have a strong squad and should be up there in the Championship play-offs.

Would have been nice to see Andy Whing finish off one our best moves for an equaliser, but I think he remembered he was a full back once he hit the rarified air in the penalty area and panicked at the key moment.:lolol:

Atmosphere was disappointing apart from the noble efforts of a handful in our singing section. The heat and the fact that it was a friendly plus a largely forgettable match were certainly factors ...

absolutely owned the pitch, really does look a quality player shame we couldn't get him here again. Murray and Forster were lacking service in the first half and it only got a bit better once McLeod and Cox came on, but people on here have to learn Murray is not going to chase the ball into the corners he is a goalscorer and a bloody good one at that
