Swindon manager Andy King has signed Gillingham striker Darius Henderson on a month's loan.

The 22-year-old began his career with Reading, before moving to Priestfield in January this year.

However, he been restricted by injury to just six League and Cup appearances for the Kent club, scoring once.

Boss Andy Hessenthaler told the Gills' website: "He has been out with a major operation and needs first team football - we will benefit and so will he."

:lolol: Darius Henderson must have a bloody good agent, that's all I can say.

He has been shit to dire for every team he's played for. I'm glad Andy King signed him though. I wouldn't wish him on anyone else.

Great replacement for Mooney who was so enthusiastic about Swindon that he dropped a division to get away.

There go Swindon's promotion hopes and the certainty that Henderson's only goal this season would have been against us :clap2:

I take it you've conveneintly forgotten about when he was at Reading.
He seemed to do the job asked of him with us.

What, warm the bench?

Yeah, but you still wouldn't want him now, would you?

Kitson is a miserable, cheating little runt, but he looks like he'll do a very decent job up front this season, and then there's your various other strikers too.

Can't see how the plank Henderson matches up, somehow.

He was a perfectly adequate division 2 striker.
Nothing more.

The Reading striker that went to Wycombe was much better than Henderson who is a slow thinking donkey. He was good at being a thug not a footballer. Unless the Henderson that played for us was a ringer.

He scored two – and neither were penalties!

I thought Bristol City and Swindon were meant to be the ones who played each other in the play off final last season, not some Division Two/League One fixture this season!
