Do you think that somebody will travel to the game today?
With our smart-cards there is no date printed for fixtures unlike the old paper tickets. I have had more than one person(Non Albion Fans to be fair.) asking if I was going today. Somebody may have gone into matchday mode when they spotted the thread 'It's a misty though pleasant enough day here in BN1. Just 3.7 miles from the Amex....' this morning.
I did it once in Berlin. There were posters with fixtures on in the city, so on the spur of the moment I decided to go to a match. When I got off the train there was about six people with scarves on walking around, I thought to myself that we got more than this at Gillingaham(Would have been our first season there.). The fixture had been moved for some reason I don't recall.
At least I got to visit the historical Olympic stadium.
Have you ever turned up to a major event on the wrong day?
It must be happening more and more with ticket sales starting over a year in advance these days. My Boss travelled to the O2 or Wembley a year early to see Cliff Richard once.
