...The withdean was always going to be a good 5 year plan,so why rent seats at pathetic prices,we could have built a stand for cheaper...

Eh? is that it, simple as that? Maybe your right after all. just because we dont own the site nor would have a chance of planning permission, shouldnt stop us from building a stand. Right where do i join up to Mr Turd's Consruction Ltd. Should have it built by new year.

WHICH BLOODY INVESTORS?!?!?!

Too much whinging, still no solutions - if backers exist name them! If you have the money to sort everything out, do it!

And please name a single serious proposal for what you call 'proper financial backing' that has been or is going to be made in the near future ??

And if you can't, perhaps you should start asking around and seeing if you can find it. Otherwise your pathetic ranting looks rather childish.... "oooh oohh if only we had millions of pounds, we could the bestest club in the whole wide world!"

Care to remind everyone what happened last time a mega rich man owned our club? :censored:

And he is even richer with the money he gained at the albion expense

Dk is trying his best but probably lacks the backing to have made life easier...it wont matter when the dream arrives

Money matters in football and polotics full bloody stop:D
In terms of football, this Club has done far, far better than most - WITHOUT money.

The real struggle has been the political one.

And mr turd tells us that with money, we'd have won through.

I say ... wake up mr turd. Those days are gone. Money might have bought planning permission when the Tories were in power. Money might have bought planning permission when Old Labour was in power.

But when money bought anything that money wanted, we had a country that decent people thought was corrupt and riddled with hypocrisy. That bubble burst in 1997, when Blair and New Labour were swept to power with a majority that will prove to be unassailable for years and years.

OK, Blair and his cronies are very far from perfect. Blair has led us into an unwinnable and deeply unpopular war. Hypocrisy still prevails in many quarters. But the corruption that money once brought to public life has all but been eliminated - to be replaced by what is admittedly a tortuous regime of scrutiny and regulation.

It's not a perfect system. But it does mean that the Albion CANNOT these days buy its way through the planning process.

To pretend that a wealthy chairman would have got us a new stadium by using his money to buy favours in the right quarters is the most ridiculous mis-reading of how things work today in Blair's Britain.

Dick Knight and Martin Perry know that. And they know better than most how to play the game that we are currently embroiled in. We could have Roman Abramovich at the helm, but we still wouldn't get a new stadium in Brighton if the Board didn't know how to work with the New Labour regime in the Town Hall and all the ins and outs of the Government's Planning Policy Guidance rules.

Lord B this is exactly the point. Money does not make councils and nimbys go away and allow you build a stadium. Unbelievable naivety with Mr Turds point naming investors.

If we suggested to clients that as soon as there was a potential cash investor into an ailing business they should scream it from the roof-tops then I do not believe that would go down to well.

If there are investors on the horizon, which without any proof I believe there would be, there is no point in looking any further than intial discussions and ideas until they have something long-term to invest in.

The point remains that in best business practice you sell the assets at a profit to keep the company afloat and maintain a cash-flow of sorts and the ability to deal with creditors.

This the board are doing very well and it is thanks to DK and co we have a club to watch at this level.

Or would you rather be going to Grimsby tomorrow?

All seems very straightforward.

Thank you for every thing Danny, but I have said that to Lawro, Robinson, Stvens, Foster, Penney, Saunders, NOgan, Byrne, Small, zamora.

We are still here and fighting. Allow the board to the best thing for our club and let them know we support them.
