The worst performance for over 5 years

OK I must be blind, as my view is different to all of yours (I must be stupid or something).

1st half - absolutly dreadful. I was embarrassed about our performance, and could hardly bare to watch.

2nd half - Our game improved. We didn't deserve to lose 4-1. We played well and kept the ball to the floor. We just couldn't score. Knight and Yeates chased the ball the whole time - the rest of the team just couldn't be arsed.

I would say we have had worse performances this season (all under Brooker).

I have to say that if you thought that was the worst peformance you have got to be having a laugh, it was in fact no worse than at least 4 other games this season, just that we were punished.

Bournemouth could have beaten us by 6, Brentford caned us for the entire 90 mins, and Lincoln!!!

It is not fair to blame Mcghee at all, he is new to the team, and the team we have is simply not up to it at all. It will take time to turn this around and we are all going to have to be patient Im afraid.

Under no stretch of the imagination did we play well in the second half. Were you there at all for any of the home games over the last 4 years ?. If so you would realise the meaning of playing well.

OK so I have seen better GG but compared to what we have played the last few games (and you are only as good as your last few games), we were better then what I have seen against Brentford and Bournemouth. Didn't see Lincoln, Boston was probably the same standard - but we got away with it, and we played better at Posh.

I didn't go yesterday, but I find it hard to accept that it could be worse than Palace away last season where we looked as if we were a bunch of u12s or Millwall away where it looked like we xould have played for a month and not scored.

Let's face it, we're having a bad run for a team that will probably be pushing for one of the final two play off spots at the end of the season.

In many ways, we remind me of Stoke the year they got up in the playoffs. Not a great side, a couple of useful players, but not a great package. They spluttered along for most of the season before saving their best three performances for the play offs. I'd take that at the moment.

Butters out by the way.

MM can bring in a new striker if he likes but, until our midfield start to put some useful balls up front, they're going to have only as much success as Knight and McPhee - none.
