I just caught the end of this trailer for this programme this coming Thurs. It is a programme looking back at the eighties. They mentioned 1983 they said in that year a rab bag outfit Brighton and Hove Albion reached the FA cup and got relegated that year!! Ragbags were we I have to tape this now as I will be at work will be interesting to see how much we get featured and if they show Jimmy Melia's disco dancing white shoes!!!

It certainly was. That was the year I got married and came pretty close to having my first baby.

Yet when Southampton fluked an FA Cup win against Manure as featured on last weeks programme there were no snide remarks about their local team from Meridian. In fact the adulation took up most of the programme, be interesting to see what coverage we get.
