Just been bought this. Enjoying it but am rather distracted by playing spot the influence. Amongst those previously mentioned I'm also hearing Fleetwood Mac (e.g. Red Eyes) & Waterboys (e.g. Lost in the Dream). Bit puzzled by the acclaim for it but I've often been wrong about albums on early listens and will persevere.

Feels overly produced to me. I suspect there are some strong songs in there, which I would probably lap up live, but not doing it for me here.

I love the vibe that they create but generally speaking, the vocals are abysmal.

Track three, 'Suffering' sounds very Van Morrison. I particularly like 'Under the pressure' and 'An ocean in between the waves', tracks 1 & 4.
