The Thumbs Down

I suspect you've been at the sauce, you olde sauce you! I refuse to thumb down; it's the last resort of an utter cretin without the wit to retort.

Put that in your proverbial pipes and f'ing well smoke it.

Been a victim of it twice, but don't give a toss.
Twice, now that's a word you never hear anymore.
Everyone else seems to say, 'two times' now, why is that.

Firstly, I have on occasion given a thumbs down by mistake, but then always countered it with a thumbs up.

Secondly, I think it is sometimes an indication that you've got things just about right, depending on the subject matter and who it's from.

Rarely use it but I like the idea of not agreeing without having a long discussion about it. Especially if is anything to do with politics.
Surely saving "this" would be for a thumbs up?

Exasperated, another much under used word, but funnily enough, I did hear it twice today, (no joke...)
