I think we will finish top 10, however I think we'll be just outside the play off places, but stranger things have happened. Look at last year! :albion2:

Just because a random journalist at the Telegraph has placed us in 7th would not alter my opinion. Said journalist probably knows no more about the league than he has read in the twenty minutes previously....

7th Place is a bit optimistic but hey, I'd be delighted with that.

I haven't got a bloody clue where we will finish. I think we have the potential to finish anywhere from 3rd to 15th

I've come back home.
Could you really put up with the lottery of the play offs? I don't think my heart could deal with the pressure. It has to be automatic or not at all! I think with a couple of signings we will do just fine. Nice and stable 8th. (I am of course kinda kidding...any chance at promotion I would take!)

Last season proved that predictions by pundits are wildly inaccurate. We walked Lge 1 when most had us pencilled in for top 6 or maybe the play offs at best. Most fans would admit the manner and margin of our success was a pleasant surprise.

A 12th place finish in the Championship now being predicted by some media pundits would be disappointing and probably not what Tony Bloom and Gus Poyet (or the fans) are aspiring to in their grand plan. IMHO 7th would not be a disaster. Anything better than that would be amazing. I feel the Championship will be tougher than some expect. We will rattle some fancied teams, cause lots of upsets - but suspect others will bully us physically and one or two may have a more skilfull team. We need to play our way, be ruthless in attack, cut out the silly defensive mistakes and take advantage of any luck that comes our way too. A top half finish feels realistic and the play offs a decent ambition.
