All hail the Paul Smith victim. So we all know now that Twatty is actually Gareth Cheeseman. Clearly very classy in Watford - the area that gave us George Michael and therefore deserves eveything it gets. No-one apart from accountants and lawyers wears a f***ing suit to the office anymore. Jeez.

Oy! I do, and i'm not one of those leeches? ???

Worthing
I actually put on 3 suits this morning

The first - Varteks - I split the trousers getting in the car.

The second - M & S - I was running to the station (I was late due to having to return to the flat to get changed) when I realised the dry cleaners hadn't sewn up the leg seam after repairing the pocket.

The third - Varteks (again) - managed to last the day, but the trousers are too short!

Hopefully, tomorrow will be a little less fraught and I'll get to work on time.

On a train...
It's sort of Bottle Green, with grey trousers, a white shirt, shoes have steele toe caps, and the tie is green with different coloured green bits on it.

I'm trying to gardually get more casual with each day. Came to the interview in a suit (Next I believe) but haven't bothered since getting the job. I gave up wearing ties several years ago because they suck. Thankfully I'm not the only one in my dept not to wear one. However, today I have come in, shirt untucked (!!!) and in trainers. Such a rebel!
Nobody's batted an eyelid so far so tomorrow I might have to take it a step further. Perhaps jeans, or maybe pyjamas?

I have to wear a suit to work every day and probably will do for the next 40 years. So I decided to buy two really good ones that would last me for ages, an Armani one from Profile in Brighton and an Alexandre one from Selfridges. So far, one of the buttons has come off the latter and some of the stitching on the lining has come loose on the former.

Money well spent then, eh?

:dunce:
