Erm...something smelly was wafting over from the station prematch...my cynical mind was thinking it was deliberate from the owners of those houses close to the burger van who had been complaining about smells etc....trying to get there own back

Yep, it was chucking up before the game too. Either the drains need looking at or somebody has a serious anti social problem.

This. Walking to/from the game was not a pleasurable experience by any means. Was Sulphor Dioxide, smelt like we were in a volcanic region FFS! Got a feeling it was workmen had been working on the drains or something.

It's the same before and after every game, if you walk up the long old path which leads to our home, you get struck down by the sheer stink of the drains below. Been getting progressively worse over the last few months, and the finger does have to point towards the residents of Falmer. And presumably the University. All those students eating such clearly unhealthy diets are causing serious issues for the general, football going public. Some could argue it's a dent in the clubs expansion schemes. You can't expect people to walk to the ground from that direction with that stench every game. It's going to put an even bigger strain on the buses and on the trains. I hope the students are proud of themselves.
