None of them could possibly be disabled parents though, right?

Always walk the kids to school in the morning, it's at the end of the road, but my wife has to collect the boy after football on a Friday in the car because she has a disability.

Dont get me wrong, there are plenty of lazy feckers out there who like showing off that they're considerably richer (in more debt) than yow! But some people have to do it.

Sorry to disappoint you - it’s the college. My commitment is to try to give them the best start in life in the way I feel is most likely to achieve the desired results. There are plenty of good state schools but I feel my kids will benefit more from a posh school as you call it. It’s not posh by the way but it is small classes, lots of tests to prep them for GCSEs , the teachers know the kids strengths & weaknesses inside out & the sports facilities are excellent. Lots of academic support etc because it’s in the schools interest for the kids to get good exam results as that’s why your paying.

Well if it's best exam results you're after, let's hope they are bright enough or you're rich enough to get them into BHASVIC or Brighton College for sixth form then.

Hurst traditionally spends their money on good sports facilities though

Hurst gets significantly better A Level results than BHASVIC (as you would expect for the money), although BHASVIC has a better "progress" score (i.e. improvement over GCSEs) and an infinitely more fabulous name.

I've just gone with my albeit limited experience of pupils from all three (along with Brighton College) and the Oxbridge offers

The Singapore independent school Raffles has been crowned top of the table for offers to the universities of Oxford and Cambridge.
Westminster School (I) in central London came second.
Hills Road Sixth Form College (S) coming in third place.
Brighton Hove and Sussex Sixth Form College (S) came in fourth.
Hwa Chong Institute, Singapore (I)
St Paul's West London (I)
The Perse school, Cambridge (I)
Brampton Manor Academy (S)
Harris Westminster 6th Form (S)
Eton College (I)

Neither Hurst nor Brighton College made the top ten.

The only year I can find the full top 100 was 2020 when BHASVIC were eighth, Brighton College 16th and Hurst didn't make the top 100.
