IMHO we lack of leadership on the field and until Charlie gets back we need someone with the same attitude and commitment.

My vote would be for Gary Hart .
Those that have tried to fill Charlies boots to date have all presided over some pretty dire stuff, so he could do no worse.

We really need to invest in a team leader. When Oatway comes back, I dont think he will be the same player physically (although he will mentally).

I thought Hammond was different player when he had the captains armband, and IMO Charlie Oatway will not be the same player that he was. You don't come back from being out a year the same player.

Thought Butters was alright today for his first game back and would like to see him as skipper from now on. It certainly shouldn't be Chippy, Hammond or Mayo!

Yes he will have the hunger and the desire to get back out there and show what he is capable off, but one more serious bad tackle or any kind of knock, could spell the end of him.
