One annoying thing was that the linesmen didn't seem to know the rules. They were flagging for offside when our offside players weren't even going for the ball.

Correct, they seemed to be years behind the times when not interfering with play was not taken into account. Useless, all three of them.

How was that handball at the North end not a penalty and how was it not a free kick when Buckley went down in the second half?

From the west stand, in line with the penalty box, it looked to me like he leaned in and chested it with his pec, by his arm pit. I didn't think it was a handball.



There was one offside when barnes was near the penalty spot and the nearest defender was on the edge of the box and the fans chose that one, an obviously correct decision, to chant "you don't know what you're doing" rather than the previous marginal one.

I agree with the other poster who said the linesman flagged wrongly at times. One time a shot came in, comfortable for the keeper to collect, but he flagged offside because someone 9yds out was offside in the middle, even though the ball had past the player and he wasn't interfering with play (the ref play on as the keeper had it).

But as questionable as their decisions were, our players are the reason we lost the game, not the refereeing decisions.

Brum scored a blinding goal and soaked up loads of pressure and i cant begrudge them the win , but fuxake these 3 stooges just ruined the game for me.

Yes, all three officials very poor. The ref failed to impose any authority over the Brummies ...this led to all the pathetic time wasting including kicking the ball away at least twice which went unpunished.

The lino with the yellow flag was terrible - he consistently raised his flag after the Birmingham players appealed. I would say about half of the offsides he gave were actually onside. Also missed a clear handball as well and denied us an obvious corner. As poor a performance by a lino as I've ever seen.

Lino was awful this evening. Gave a corner at one point to the then change to goal kick!
Sure I just saw on FLS as well when bridge crossed it and deflection web across goal lino was pointing to corner when no where near going out.
