man utd its simple really they are the best team in england allways win, have extremly long suffering and loyal fans, never moan when defeated, have a gracious and extremly sporting manager, and have done admirably well on limited rsources.

seriously though spurs, as there the only prem team ive ever seen live and a few mates follow them ( of course they all think i hate spurs and know nothing of my secret soft spot) :lolol:

ManU. I find I'm much more likely to dislike the teams my mates support rather than feel fond of them. Enjoyed living with a Mackem last year, start of this season was looking good too :)

Charlton for all the reasons stated so far and the fact that John Robinson and Garry Nelson were great players. Also was my first away game in the early nineties when they were playing at Selhurst.

Charlton. I also have a soft spot (temporarily!) for any team that beats Man U or Chelsea!

Man City.. my family were originally from Manchester before they came down here and had me, and are all City fans. I used to support Spurs when I first started getting into football after Italia '90, due to the Gazza/Lineker partnership - until my Dad took me to the Goldstone....

Saints. Dad used to take us to watch them during the Shilton, Keegan, David Armstrong era. My brother is also a Saints fan.

Having said that, as I no longer have the Premiership shoved down my throat like I did in the UK, I have no idea where any team is in the league.

Where are Middlesborough by the way? In form for their tricky cup game or not?

Everton coz they were actually good at the time I was first getting into footbal (1986ish).
Its the horrible thing about playing fantasy football games when you realise you want Chelsea to keep a clean sheet
