When you've got the likes of vastly overrated players like Lampard being offfered contracts where they'res being paid £150k a week when people are losing their jobs and house you know that morally there's something wrong.

Premiership? You're havin a laugh!

I don't have Sky so I never get to watch live games, have reached a point where I pretty much only watch the first few games on MoTD...but generally watch all of MoTD2 for the Sunday games, Saturday goals and the other footy related articles that they usually manage to make interesting. Most of my footy pleasure, apart from going to live games, comes from listening to it on the radio...something I have done since I was about 10 years old and probably gain more enjoyment from than watching on the box.

Completely agree with everything said by Pavillionaire. The Premiership has lost all appeal due to a number of reasons including, increased predictability and passionless foreign players on ridiculous wages.

The premiership has simply followed the route set by the painstakingly boring and predictable champion's league. A case of the rich getting richer and the widening gap between the rich and poor. In fact, am I not describing the current problems in football or life in general?

To keep it shallow, I feel the Championship on TVand Brighton away games to be unrivalled when it comes to total football enjoyment!:clap2:

Not interested in the Premiership. Brighton and England are my two teams.

Nothing will change unless the likes of Sky lose money and the only way that will happen is if people cancel their sports subscriptions. I did last year and haven't missed it. It's no good hoping it will change whilst still putting money into sky's pocket. If any odd game takes your fancy, you can always see it at some pub somewhere.

Will still watch the Premier League when i can as its probably the best League in the world as the Champions League has proved lately. Imagine if in the FA Cup we get an away draw against one of the top 4 how many fans will suddenly want to go and watch and enjoy the day regardless of the result.

Why are people bothered how much players earn ? A top class player is earning only a fraction of what a F1 driver gets or some top golfers so would you stop watching that as well ? People at the top of their profession get paid what people think they are worth , if someone pays Lampard £140,000 a week they think its worth it (i dont) .

THE PREMIERSHIP IF f***ing SHIT!

Of course i wont be giving it a miss, because i support a premiership team, but f***ing hell, we'll have like 8/19 home games on a saturday this season thanks to them ****s - the f.a and sky.

As for the top 4, f***ing Fergie f***ing hell, talk about a hippicrite:annoyed:

Its like i went to see us lose 6-1 to Crawley last night, and 3-5 players looked quite good, but they'll get offloaded to a championship club and thats the end of the career, because of all these foreign ****s.

As for 47 knicker to get in to the f***ing emirates , you can f***ing stick that right up your arse.

sorry Paxton, but it's a bit rich that a Spurs fan complains about the Premiership when they were one of the first ones to sign the Premier League Founding Members Agreement and were also guilty of cosying upto sky when you had the likes of Klinnsman playing for you.

I remember Tottenham always being on ITV's Big Match on a Sunday when the likes of Lineker and Mabbutt were playing for them...and the Spurs fans were just as obnoxious as the Chelsea fans are now.

I always say that you reap what you sow and in Spurs' case, they're the victims of their own arrogance in the 80's & early 90's...plus many Albion fans still have never forgiven Spurs for cheating us out of a First Division place with Southampton in 1978!

Isnt Alex Ferguson doing the same to your lot as you do did Palace over John Bostock (tapping up players) ?

As for £47 to get into Emirates i paid more than that when we played you lot at white hart lane in the FA Cup and i had to get tickets in the home end.

It was the upper stand behind the dugouts. My mate also invited me to watch Spurs V Liverpool on the opening day of the 2004-05 season (Santini and Benitez first games in charge), he got tickets and they were £68 each !!!!!

After watching some of the performances last season it was refreshing to see some decent football, and in a decent ground also ( I went to Stamford Bridge and The Emirates a few times last year.

if anyone thinks Premiership football is shit I advise them to go and see Arsenal play....their football is light years ahead of us and apart from the fact that it is dreadfull to get away from, the Emirates is an absolutely amazing place.

I love football. The best weekend for me is being off, watching the Albion win on Saturday, couple in the pub, watch a game there, and maybe watch a game on Sunday via the Premiership.

I work most weekends, so that to me is bliss.

Tottenham fans can't have been quite as obnoxious - they never won anything decent. When Jurgen went there they nearly got relegated. I hope I'm wrong but I agree with most people on here. There's only so many Man Utd vs Chelsea battles I can take. Hopefully the European Cup will be more interesting with a better challenge from Europe. But here, nobody is going to break into the Big 4. No chance whatsoever. ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....................

The day after Michael Owen was sold. Some spurs fans behind us were talking about Gary Doherty who was playing and they said he was as good as Bobby Moore ???
